Job Description:
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes as per recipes
Prepare banquet menus that will be served to guests based on inventory available and as per the chef's instruction
Prepare and cook special meals as needed for dietary reasons and allergies
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Inform chef when inventory levels are low to ensure proper inventory is available for events
Will set up and oversee buffets as well as take them down
Responsible for ensuring that all appliances and utencies used are sanitary
Will clean kitchen and work area to keep clean at all times as well as stock inventory as needed
Prepare food items before restaurant opens and during shift when possible
May hire and train kitchen staff

Job Requirements:
Seasonal from April 1st to December 20th
2-3 year of experience minimum is required
Work in a fast pace environment
Work well independently and part of a team
Punctual, dependable
Attention to detail
Organized
Safe food handling certificate is an asset
Able to lift 25 lbs
Good Hygiene
Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
