Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Description:

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant
Consult with owner and general manager in regards to marketing and promotions
Maintain and complete repairs as needed to all equipment or find contractor to fix
Ensure services offered are followed and implement operational procedures
Recruit staff and oversee staff training
Ensure all equipment is in good working order
Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance as required
Help out with any duty as required when short staffed or people call in sick
Comply with and ensure all staff follow brand standards at all times
Financial management for the location as well as ensuring minimal waste and profitability
Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices as per head office
Resolve customer complaints
Follow health and safety regulations and ensure it is followed by all in the restaurant
Other duties that apply

Job Requirements:

Minimum 1 year restaurant manager experience or 3 years supervisor experience is a requirement
Punctual

Must be proactive and take initiative
Work independent and as part of the team
Responsible with money
Honest and transparent in communications
Work splits, evenings, weekends mornings and holidays when required
